RESTON, Va., April 1, 2012—VMD Systems Integrators, Inc., is pleased to announce that it has been appraised at Level 2 of the Capability Maturity Model Integration for Services model. Developed by the Software Engineering Institute and based on the same concepts and principles of the original CMMI model, CMMI for Services focuses on the development, management and delivery of services that meet or exceed customer delivery needs. By combining CMMI for Services with VMD's existing CMMI for Development initiative, VMD will be able to produce improved products for its clients.
